Audrey gets a new ‘do’
Former teacher and busy Minister’s wife Audrey Sherbino spends plenty of time on view in the community. Already a stylish woman well into her sixties, and far from needing an ‘overhaul’, she felt her look needed a bit of an update to emphasize her good points.
Tempo Toronto stylist suggests: hair reshaping, age-appropriate make-up and a flattering colour around the face.
Daniel Occhiuto of Salon DanielLuis in Kleinburg gave Audrey an easy-to-manage style that framed her face with youthful straight bangs to bring focus onto Audrey’s beautiful eyes and cut dramatically into the neck at the back to emphasize the forward sweep of the sides. This is an easy-maintenance style and a great match for Audrey’s super-straight locks.
Not a fan of make-up, save a quick sweep of lipgloss when she remembers, Audrey had no idea how age-appropriate make-up application techniques could make such a huge difference. Candace Morison from Kleinburg Spa www.kleinburgspa.com wanted to create a light yet flawless finish to even out the skin tones, and emphasize Audrey’s lovely eyes and full lips. It took her just a few minutes to create this look.
The turquoise tee did nothing to enhance Audrey’s look. As a quick-fix, our stylist draped her in a lilac pashmina for the photograph. See how much more flattering the right colour is for her cool skin tone (tending towards pink rather than peach) and her fabulous – almost 90% her own – hair colour. Voila! Audrey glows.
